By the 14th I'd daubed paint over this little lot.
This concludes the painting of most of my unpainted goblin collection from the time 3rd edition WFB came out and the pictures of the battle which is being recreated at BOYL this year.
I'm now off to the attic to see, if, I've anything else that I can splosh a touch of colour over, from the pictures shown. Apparently, chariots are also required, so here we have the Goblin Warlord's chariot, designed by Nick Lund for 66 points.
To draw this months efforts to a conclusion I also dabed a little bit of colour over a few orc arra boys for 97.5 points.
I know, I started this years challenge doing one thing which morphed into somthing else halfway through, but looking back I found the experience forfilling.
A project 40 years in the making, fulfilling it's destiny and it's designer! We love to see it!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comment, it's more a case collecting for over forty years and picking up bargains as they occur. the painting is simply just doing what I can when the oppotunity arise - small and often.

ReplyDeleteAdmittedly, the change of direction in the project came a bit unexpectedly-it’s great that you were able to help out a friend like that. You managed to put together quite a horde of goblins, both before and after the shift. Congratulations on the achievement, and good luck for the BOYL game!
ReplyDeleteIt was a surprise and I'm happy to help. But I have to admit I still don't think my efforts with the Asgard figures do them justice. I'll go back to them at some point, but I don't think I'll ever be content with my efforts. Here's hoping
