Anthony's Minions of Chaos - first month, Morgoth's beastmen

Beastmen are vile parodies of humankind, creatures of chaos who hate humans above all other beings. They exist only to bring war, fire and destruction to the world in the name of the chaos gods. Morgoth is held in highest esteem as a shaman by the half-beasts. Some describe his visage as truly horrific, although in truth none can describe it with any certainty. Morgoth walks within the realms of man in tattered garbs covering a suit of bones. He whispers prophesies into the ears of his deformed followers, who bray in anticipation for the fall of mankind.

My first month's pledge is Morgoth, a level 15 wizard (Feralfluxer, or beastman shaman at 225pts), with 15 chaos beast men (10pts each) for a total of 375pts by 3rd edition standards. I'm aware that opinions of Bob Olley's work are mixed, although I am a big fan of his beastmen. They are the perfect blend of beast and man, in my opinion.

First up is Morgoth, clad in bone armor. He points his finger in glee as he envisions the destruction of man.

Next are the 15 chaos beastmen. I really like the level of detail on these models. I had in mind to do freehand designs on their shields, although these may have to be added later. I tried to make the armor look as rusted and worn as possible, to emphasize the primal nature of the beasts.

It took some fiddling with the DSLR camera, since I am still a novice when it comes to miniature photography, but I think the pictures turned out alright. Used a new blue fade background I got from Hangar18 miniatures, which I am quite pleased with so far.
