When the war horns are blown, Gothtor Hellsmelter is first to attend their call.

Many years ago, in what seems like another lifetime, Gothtor had been a Dragon slayer, hell bent on meeting a violent and gory end locked in combat with a mighty fire breathing foe.

Gothtor wandered the land, smiting every scaly flying bastard he could find. As his reputation grew, he found he had to travel further afield to find dragons to slay and eventually found himself in the chaos wastes. Far from being scared shitless like most normal people would be, Gothtor took to it like a duck to water! It wasn’t long until dragon slaying had been extended to include anything with a pulse!

Khorne quickly noticed the bloody swathe that this new arrival had cut through his realms and recruited him to his cause. In service to the Blood God, Gothtor has been rewarded with a suit of chaos armour, a flame hammer,as well as the ability to breathe fire from his dragon helm. An unfortunate side effect of this is the constant smell of sulphur that surrounds him. Still, his unimaginative followers don’t seem to mind, and he can always be found in the company of his loyal gunners, The Hell’s Smelters
