The post for this month will be short and sweet. I painted 4 Silver Helm knights that come in at 45 points each for a grand total of 180 points. I'm on the fence regarding the shields, originally I liked the dark purple now I'm not so sure. The transfers are from some old Eldar transfer sheet I had lying around and match the banner I painted last month for a different unit. I think these might be some of my favorite Citadel minis and painting them was a real treat compared to slogging through 16 rank and file guys.
As always, thanks for looking and I'm planning on filling this unit out next month with a wizard, the army standard and my general.
Some of my favs too. yours came out very nice.
ReplyDeleteNice job! And the high elves keep their perfect attendance record!
ReplyDeleteNice job Bro
ReplyDeleteReally like those old elven cavalry models.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff. Nice cone heads I mean nice elves. Classic miniatures. cheers
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Perhaps just a little highlighting on the shields, I think the dark purple looks fine. I really like your basing on these, I hadn't paid attention to it before.
ReplyDeleteThose are Boss!
ReplyDeleteAlways difficult to paint cavalry, even more so with white horses, props to you! Your army is coming along nicely, the purples will really tie the whole thing together
ReplyDeleteDon’t think I’ve ever seen those before. You’ve done a good job with them mate.
