I could well be breaking some kind of low points record for the OWAC but...well...baggage trains and camp followers are free. I didn't write all the rules of Oldhammer you know.
This is also some kind of sublimation of the current state of my life.
Back on the rank and file next month once I've worked out which wagon my preslottas are on.

This is a shot of the wildcard added to my dwarf baggage.
The new wagon can either be laden with supplies or fits x3 20mm square slotta troops if part of a barricade.
Note from the Overlord : I'm awarding Matthew 50 points, as I will consider the crates and such terrain.
I really like the colors you used on the cart and barrels wood grain. Outstanding and defiantly not pointless.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful weathering mate - funny how a lot of folk (me included) don't paint things like wagons as painted wood but rather go for an untreated timber look.
ReplyDeleteI always feel it's important to put a bit of yourself in to any project you work on and you've done that admirably with your streaker ;)
As for your philosophical point - loads of work, beautiful result but no points. Yup that rings true! I for one think the best things in life are free and that definitely includes baggage trains.

ReplyDeleteMr Street, you really do spoil us! They look amazing, but I especially like the carriage with it's green paintjob. Of the dwarfs I think the guy with the green hat is standout, and I think it's a great job to have the flasher having a luxurious purple lining to his trenchcoat... Nice work!

ReplyDeleteI love it. Who cares if it's free because it's fantastic. It never would have occurred to me to paint them as painted wood. Idea stolen and logged for future use.
