James P Wrap Up 2,890 Points

We’ve come to the end, my friends.

Another OWAC complete. My plan from the beginning was to paint half of a 3rd edition 3000 point Empire army over two years. Last OWAC saw the completion of the required units followed with this year’s addition of the rest of the army. Despite falling one unit short I consider this goal a success. The Estelian pike unit didn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances.

I had a great time taking part in both OWAC III and OWAC IV and hope to join another in the future. So, without further ado here’s the money shot!

Looking smug with the Empire army of my dreams.

  5. You get to look smug with *any* yellow army, as far as I'm concerned, and this one is beautiful 🙂

  6. It looks great, a proper Warhammer Empire 3rd army in size and looks. I love the focus to keep at it and use the same scheme with barely an exception. It really works.

  7. Congratulations! A really great looking, and impressively large, army! Some great models in there - all very well painted. An army to be proud of!

  9. Really lovely army - few sights compare to a medieval force with banners, pennants, heraldic shields and all!. Plus you painted a lot of models. Smugness is well justified :-). Congratulations!

  10. Brilliant! The driving colour scheme applied simply and cleanly throughout, with the addition of striking banners makes this army an absolute lesson in having a clear, focused goal and ending up with a flipping wonderful army! Grat work and that, sir, is an excellent army shot :) Congratulations!
