Pokrzyw's High Elves - Rain of arrows - Rank and File #1 (516pts)

Sun was covered by cloud of hundreds arrows, nobody can survive that rain... even ferocious hydra.

Archers are an iconic unit of each elven force. They make up the bulk of an army. Three units will help stop the advance of most armies. I've decided to use typical bright 4th edition colour palette that will also define the rest of the army. January was the month of monopose miniatures.. 24 identical archers, but I've chosen slightly different scheme (red - blue - green details) for each unit, that help me a  lot. Command squads deliver some different possibilities.

Some more effort I located in banners. I really like to plan and paint banners based on HE heraldy. Hearts means that they are forces of Avelorn!

  9. Archers are quintessentially Elven, and these monopose beauties scream 90s $th Edition Box Set goodness to me.

As a fellow High Elf challenger, I really appreciate the link to Avelorn through the heraldry.
