Hello everyone !
I thought this month will be a wild card as I couldn't find any motivation to paint my beauties. I started to paint some 40K terrain I had in stock. An Amorcast Mega Cannon and some trenchs.
I repeat myself but painting terrain is something very relaxing and really fun to do. I really helped me to focus on something else and to forget the "deadline" of the Challenge.
Once it was done, I started this week my plague knights. It's weird how now, I was motivated to paint them.
The so called psycho-analysis done, we can focus on the miniatures once again. For this unit, I really wanted to convert every models. Chaos Knights are some of the most charismatic (and powerful) unit in Warhammer world so I wanted to make them really unique.
Some are pure oldhammer models, directly from RoC, some are entirely converted.
Family picture !!! Say bluuuuuuuuurrrrrrrgggg :D
Total points :
7 chaos knights : 560 pts
Total army : 2835 pts + 560 pts = 3395 pts
And... just for fun, here are the 40K terrains I painted this month.
Next month.... Maybe the Great Unclean One...
I love the Knight unit. Making a lot of conversions is definitely the way to go with uniquely chaotic models. Some of the steeds are also very interesting. What is the pink one with long snout, if you don't mind me asking?
ReplyDeleteThank you ! The pink snout is an old acid cannon from plastic tyranid warriors, I just turned it over, et voilà !
DeleteI love the snout even more now!
DeleteSometimes you need a break, looks like a change of pace to paint that scenery really helped you. Such incredibly varied Knights, well done! And I don't know what the demony thing is but you made it look really horrid, so full marks for that too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I do agree with you, painting, even in the OWAC has to stay a pleasure !
DeleteOutstanding work! I love the conversions.
ReplyDeleteAh, what an excellent Oldhammer unit... The conversion and colour scheme are extra Oldhammer! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThe converted mount with the Deathspitter face and chains for hair (And the rear end of a cold one?) is pure Oldhammer chaos! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe big guy is more of a burgeoning Chaos Spawn than a Beast of Nurgle for me, but he's brilliantly gross in either case! :D
