It's been a good month. I enjoyed the painting of the two war alters and particularly the grenadier style chaos trolls. I particularly like the old citadel giant as well and he was great to paint.
Maybe a bit of overkill with two war alters but the chaos gods are fickle after all!

The trolls and giant are great minis and go well in a chaos army.
Finally here is the whole army. My table is put away at the moment because we are selling the house so it's all on a single board. The total value is a ridiculous 4588 points because of the 40 chaos warriors.
That's a nice selection of large monsters. You certainly are not lacking hard hitters in your army!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise that those Trolls were so big, they certainly add some punch to the army. The two altars don't seem that excessive, espcially as one is practically a terrain piece. It's all come together into an impressive and colorful force, well done.
ReplyDeletePersonally I think the two altars is only sensible. One for home (also good scenery), one for away matches.
