Equipment: Hand weapon,
lance, crossbow, light armor, shield. Unit has standard and musician.
This is a unit of Dark Elf
cataphracts to guard Varl, the army general.
The riders are all
Marauder figs. Five of the horses are from Essex and the one ridden by the
standard bearer is from Gripping Beast. I used the same Gripping Beast
Successor Shields as the Black Hearts. The lances were constructed with brass
rod and plastic. Saddle covers were made from Green Stuff putty.
Varl and his guards.
And that concludes my
portion of the Old World Army Challenge. Have a good day, I’m currently testing
a bottle of Jack for impurities…

ReplyDeleteThe Esses horses look great. l thinks the ones Iron Wind makes would work very well also, and I am going to try them for my Marauder dark elf Cavalry.
