Pokrzyw's Sisters of Battle - OWAC 8 - Wrap Up

"Foremost amongst the fanatical warriors of the Ecclesiarchy are the Batle Sisters of the Adepta Sororitas. They constantly guard Humanity against the vile hordes of Chaos, the insidious threat of heretics and the assaults of heathen aliens. With their elite training, superb wargear and unshakeable faith in the Emperor, the Sisters of Battle have crushed the foes of Mankind in countless battles across every part of the galaxy" - Codex: Sisters of Battle, GW 1997

It was the hardest edition of OWAC I participated. Sisters of Battle was my first 40k army and I spent hours painting them 25 years ago. Since that time I painted many armies, hundreds miniatures.. and I lost my love to these miniatures. Although ecclesiarchy entered my workshop and under threat of penance I finished challenge.

I would like to congratulate all those who avoided field of bones and completed their great armies! You are the heroes!

Whole army from above:

I try to catch some photos of my small project:

Ecclesiarchy
with some militians
Sisters, immolator, and militiants

Inquisitorial warband
Sisters
Sisters and inquisitorial gang
Sisters
Another inquisitorial crew, cannoness and immolator

Plans for next OWAC? I am tore between two projects - wood elves or dwarfs. I don't have enough miniatures, but my friend lure me printed copies of good old stuff.. Let's see ;o)

  1. Mate, I really hope you have rekindled your love for these minis now the project is finished as you have done a fantastic job with them. Congratulations on a completed OWAC. It's the struggle that makes it such an achievement, and you made it! :)

  2. Got to say I'm impressed by the numbers of metal sisters and their hangers-on you've managed to amass and spread some colour over, well done, sir

  3. Love the double duty of the necromunda models, they fit in sooo well! That red, black and white is a striking colour scheme when produced en masse - they look fantastic! Congrats!
