OWAC VI Paul D's conclusion to a long haul project

In January, I kicked off with a selection of lesser demons to begin bringing my chaos undivided horde a conclusion

February, saw me add further factions of lesser demons, quickly growing the a reason number of models

March, saw further additions to the horde

I also produces a few extras and overs, in addition to the monthly minimums.

April, saw me add my leader with his Balrog chariot, pulled by another two !

At this point I wasn't counting points!

May, saw further factions brought into the undivided fold.

June, had me painting more figures, but I was in no postion to publish my efforts, so here we are in July with all my new toys, in excess of six thousand points, if, I was to counting.

Apologies for the grim face, but I was in a degree of pain crouched behind my troops

 (Hip replacement due in August).

Paul adds a few more lesser demons to his horde for May

April was an extremely productive month for me so I left the basing and varnishing of my endeavors until May so that I could focus my efforts on my leader without too much stain upon either my time and wallet. I've now added a touch of colour and texture to the bases to the last of my troops.

Mays contingent all together

Added to my previous efforts, a hundred and five figures in a fews months, not a bad job too, if I do say so myself.

I'll hopefully have Junes contingent ready soon.

Golgfag presents March's contingent

Well, February went so well that I've actually finished painting all the miniatures I planned to complete for the challenge with just a little bit of basing and varnishing to do, to complete the task. So what I'm going to do is post everything I've completed and spend the next couple of months adding to the pile, thus depleting my lead pile a little more than I'd intended.

So here's what I'd completed so far of my intend post for March, more deamonettes.

  All together girls.

I recently purchased  six figure holders which helped me turn and twist the figures to get into all those awkward places, so I've started painting smaller batches, which means I was turning them around faster, here's the results of my efforts.

Here they all are when Joined to the ranks of the growing host, typical chaos - no co-ordination of colour, form or grouping. Hope you like em?

 See you next month.

Month Two - Paul D's post for February - troops

Using some my cushion from January to get my post done and dusted for February, so that I can continue preparing for my big game at BOYL this year - Another batch of lesser demons, this time Slaanesh Deamonettes, I much prefer these to the earlier Clawed types, as their nicely proportioned and mixed well with my other models.

All together

A series of pictures showing the individual figures, please forgive the pictures taken with my phone, which do my painting no favours, there are one or two good pictures, but most are poor at best.

The strange blobs on the bases and hanging from blades are supposed to be debris from where Nurgle's followers have passing by, but I'm not sure I've got this right, hopefully in time it'll get better.

One of the better pictures

Here they're mixed in with last months contribution, trying to show the divesity, as each month adds another batch to the overall colour scheme of my entry.

Next batch almost ready and waiting for March, still a bit of finishing off to do!
