Blake's Dwarf Crossbowmen February List (312pts)
Wow, after the mulligan, This month sure seemed to go by quick. I'm posting images of my first unit of crossbowmen. I'm on the deadline, so quick and dirty photos. But 24 crossbowmen at 13 points a piece is 312 points.
By the Warhammer Armies Lists these are a required unit, so I'm building towards the full army. I did get some paint on some other figures, the other crossbowmen, the goblobber and I'll be using them month when I get them done.
But here is the 24 dwarfs

Kober's Expeditionary Force - Hold my beer (260pts).
Bugmans' Beer Guards
Points: Crossbowmen 260, Baggage train 0
To inspire his troops Bugman has send a cart laden with a medium size barrel of ale.
An Army travels on its stomach. Dwarves travel on a full tankard.
With the addition of a unit of crossbowmen, the Expeditionary force has the range to inflict heavy casualties to the Green skins.
Ross' Darkness falls (mulligan)
It's been a busy month for me and so I haven't been able to find the time to put paint to model. My job is to sculpt and it tends to overlap into hobby time or any sort of free time. So when I am behind, I miss out on everything else.
I was intended to have a crack at the models on Tuesday night, but our street suffered a power cut in the early evening, so I indulged in the luxury known as sleep.
Fortunately I have a fixed game night, so I do get to game at least once a week. I thoroughly enjoyed using all my painted Undead in a battle of Kings of War this month and intend to continue doing so as the army gets less grey.

Nathan's January Slann (218 pts)
Well I made it - just. Another mixed lot of slann this month as painting figures from different units helps me from getting bored. I just need to remind myself from time to time what I need to have done by the end of the challenge for my force to actually fit the Warhammer Armies list! Anyway points wise this is what I finished:
- giant spider 45 points
- Slann beastmaster 12 points
- Slann on cold one - 33 points
- 2 venom tribes - 24 points
- 2 spawn bands - 20 points
- 3 lizardmen with two handed weapons - 72 points
- 1 warrior priest - 12 points
All up 218 points worth. I also painted up a 40K slann which I can use as an animal handler as the figure is holding an axe but I won't claim him. Anyway here they are:

Blue's January Submission (209pts)
Hi all,
I had a little better run this month and actually finished my figures a bit ahead of time for a change. I even painted an extra mini just to complete a unit...and to pad my numbers a bit in an effort to avoid another round of mockery for coming in slightly short on my point tally like last month...
Here is the group shot of the figures I finished for the month...
