Rochies Skaven, in by a whisker! 189points

Hello!

Another month gone and and another crop of cracking entries, we'll done everyone!
I can't lie, I struggled a bit this month, I can't explain why given I only had ten models to paint (and I'm eleven points shy of the 200, oh well!), but I just couldn't get into it at all. Maybe it was because I've already painted my fill of clanrats and plague monks, maybe it was misplacing my army book up til ten minutes ago, who knows? But the important part is I screeched in sideways, so here we are!

The whole lot together

5 plague monks, light armour and extra hand weapon - 45 points

4 clanrats with spears - 26 points

Warlock Champion Mangefur - 118 points

So there yis go for another month, all going well next month will be the final installment to take me over the 1000 points mark, which leaves a month in hand to add something really juicy! Thanks for looking folks, here's to next month!

    1. Cheers mucker! I think I'd hit the wall this month, but hopefully that's the end of the messing now and I'll March over the line as planned!

    1. Cheers Lissanne! I have to admit to being a bit jealous of your elves, I'd have liked to have done my own but the army was nearly finished already when the challenge came round, so I'm loving your updates!

    1. Cheers pal! I was talking to Ned about this very thing a week or so back, if I take a mulligan and break the rhythm, I'm buggered, so I had to just deliver several kicks up my own arse and suck it up. Feeling good about this month though, so watch this space!

  4. I really dig the look of your Skaven. I'm a fan of subdued paint schemes.

  6. Beautiful work Rochie. That's the difficult thing with army painting, sometimes it feels like a real slog. It's probably the reason I only have one painted army and a ton of figures in the lead pile.

  7. The little bit of blue on the gun really pops against the drab/dirty colours.

This’ll be a great looking army when it’s all done.
