A happy month after a couple of difficult ones!!!

This unit, and the its twin one (not painted yet), has been one of my main objetive for this OWAC. I really love the models but they are closer to high elves to the wood elves this is why I did many tests before I start to paint them until I was convinced of the paint scheme. I would like to show the tests but, I don´t know how, I have deleted all them... 

[Wait, I found them. Later you can see I painted them with a mix of the tests]

What can I show you, and I´m very proud of, is my kids painting the base color of the horses!!

If they like it I have plenty models on stock!!

And now, with the "help" of my kids, I´ll be able to fiish my original list...

What have I done this month...?

The forth month is over, with no mullingan for me, and I see the end of the tunnel, what else can ask to life an OWAC participant??

For the next month I want to finish two units in order to complete my list, difficult but not impossible...

Well, due to "real life" this post is almost the same as the one in February. Congratulations to me, I have twin posts!!! I was completed sure to finish two units this month and... I wasn´t able to... So no more hopes for future months, just regular planning painting...

Last month I had mixed feelings when I finished the monthly post. Well, thi month I have not mixed feelings  at all, I'm not happy 

Third month is always a difficult month. I really feel tired of painting the same day by day, but I know as soon as I finish April I´ll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel... so I have to stay positive, take my brushes and think "No more mounted archers for me...".

My objective for February* was to paint not one but two mounted archers units and I have been really closed to do it but an unexpected trip at the end of the month make it totally impossible to achieve it... (arrgggg!)

* Yes, two units on the shorter month, I´m so clever.

The positive side, I have done half of the painting work for the next month so I´ll be able to add an extra unit on March. Who knows???

I have mixed feelings about this month. I happy with the painting work (but not very happy) and a little bit dissapinted because on my head I was "on time" to finish both units but February and real life plans show me that sometimes you have to admid the defeat.
