The headline says it all - like a number of challengers I struggled painting figures in March. Well to be honest I struggled painting hobgoblins - I got distracted by other figures on my desk and ended up finishing a few of them. But thankfully I got back on track and managed to paint the required 200 points for the month. This is what I managed:
- contingent standard bearer 82 points
- temple dog (Contingent commander rider to follow later on) 85 points
- 3 hobyars 30 points
- 2 mourngul renegades 16 points
For a grand total of 213 points. Here they are:
But I must say it feels like I cheated - yes I got 200 points painted up but it is only 6 figures. I will fix that in April as I have a number of rank and file that I’ve been working on and which I will be able to finish in the month as Easter provides me with heaps of painting time!
Not cheating- I only had 4 figs this month. If you have few figsf do them well, and you did!
ReplyDeleteMan I love that templedog miniature, it is a shame the citadel ones are so hard/expensive to get now.
ReplyDeleteNice figs. It's ok to "cheat" once in a while with a character to eat up points. I have a temple dog around somewhere, I'll find it eventually...
ReplyDeleteWoof!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing April's post, your models here look really good
Love the skin tones on these guys. They look great. I'm very excited to see this army come to completion...
ReplyDeletePoints are points, and you got them painted -- right?
ReplyDeleteLooking good. Are the hobyars Grenadier minis? I don't think I've seen those painted up before, they look good!
Don't talk to me about cheating, 'cause I am a chaos player this time! You did a nice work on them and that's all that is more important.

ReplyDeleteSo you're saying you got your OWAC points done AND finished some other stuff? Sounds like a productivity win rather than cheating to me :)
