Okay so originally I was planning to go for some wood elves in this years challenge, but then two things happened. Firstly everyone decided to paint wood elves to the point there were so many of us we could label it the OWEC. Second, and more importantly, I realised that I have another 1000 points in unpainted Savage Orcs, including one of every remaining sculpt by the Perry twins. So I thought to myself, wouldn't it be nice after all these years of collecting, to finally have a fully painted army. And really that just too good of a goal, not to give it a shot!
The paint scheme will be in the same vein as last years offering of all things in homage to our lord and saviour goblin green, the brighter the better. However this time round, in the interest of spicing it up a little, there will be some variation. I'll be experimenting with a bit of war paint now that I've come up with a good idea for it.
So on to the 1000 point list, as last year its from the 4th/5th edition armies book aimed at 5th edition play as this is the model era and the edition that I love. So loads of heroes, chokkabloc with infantry and some big guys to keep it interesting.

That totals out to 45 models and around 10 figures a month and one month of trolly goodness, about the same model count as I did last year if we say that cavalry are two models (which they are really). Fingers crossed it should be doable.
