Yes !! Come into my arms my children !! The Dark Prince only wants your flesh !
So here is the last month ! As I presented in my little background in my first post, I wanted that the climax of my army would be its none playable miniatures, the army bagage train. I find it so funny, to me it is a huge opportunity to craft a unique army with that.
I wanted to use the Wet Nurse from Kingdom Death, but I also wanted to have a lazy character on a throne or a chariot... surrounded by slaves, demons, worshippers of any kind.
Let's start by the Lady's followers. The miniature in itself is Cersei Lannister from Dark Sword Miniatures. I used many slaves from the amazing "Brother Vini" range and also some old metal miniatures like the bard, the demon, and the slaves from the RP amazons chariot.
The mirror behind the Lady is of course the mirror daemon from AoS. You will also recognize some GW flagellants.

Awesome stuff! The whole thing is deliciously offensive (in a good way). Great choice of miniatures, and that guy offering his leg is a really nice touch

ReplyDeleteI could write a small essay here praising your work - The Lady on her chariot is fantastic. Are the poor unfortunates in stocks who are pulling it the flagellants? I could definitely find a use for them in my cult...
The composition of the models around the Wet Nurse is perfect and they tell the narrative of the piece so well. The Wet Nurse itself (herself?) is horribly brilliant and the Rancor has always been my favourite thing from Star Wars!
I'm now off to put on my hair shirt and mortify my flesh with the biggest scourge I can find in penance for my admiration of your wonderful perverts XD

Yes the slaves pulling the chariot are :
- 2 first ones from Ral Partha's amazons chariot
- 2 GW flaggelants (still available, those miniatures are amazing)
- 1 female from brother vinni on Etsy
- 1 "kneeling slave" from grenadier I think.

ReplyDeleteEvent Horizon was a stand out piece of cinema for younger me, and the priest is a worthy homage. All the details, fluff, scenery and thought that's gone into these two pieces is totally awesome and properly inspiring. Deliciously horrible work!
Absolute madness for the wild card. The combination of models and the modelling is impressive. Lovely details in each monster, especially the cultists getting mad in the presence of the demon.
