Hello everyone,
i'm kind of late for the challenge but here i am!
For the last month before the wrap up post i had to do my leader and the wildcard so without further waiting, here they are:
Our lord is a fierce horselord gathering clansmen and druids to defend the island from intruders. He's using a very big mace and celtic shield.
Mainly green colors, this guy is from Ral Partha and received an old Confrontation shield.
My Wildcard is a second giant!!! This guy is an homage to the cloud giant from Ral Partha. I love it, it s so cool and he s as big as lots of warhammer giants. 205 pts of awesome.
I added to the base a small druid apprentice that tries to pronounce some magic spells to make him obey.
So with the 331 pts, I reach a total of painting minis of 1444 pts! Not too shabby.
Here it is for me. Thank you Iannick for managing the challenge for an other year. See you soon for the wrap us post.
Cheers
Sybou
Cool giants! Congrats on making it through! Klaatu barada nikto- Venusian may have different spelling depending on your language!
ReplyDeleteGreat job. I've really liked watching this army come together. Yourself, and Mariano's WElves, have inspired me to do a WElf army in the forests of Albion for next year's OWAC.
ReplyDeleteLove the Horse Lord - being Ral Partha helps but your paint job really sells him! The Giant is lovely - another fine addition - would he be called Gort by any chance?
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed watching your army come together and looking forward to seeing them muster for next month's army shot!
Great work, I've been eyeing that giant myself. Nice to see it with another model for scale.
ReplyDeleteLovely work and to have painted 2 giants! Well done.
ReplyDeleteThose giants are a great final installment for the army!
ReplyDeleteThe lord fits the theme really well too.
Well done on completing the challenge!
Love the giant, very characterful with spindly arms and potato nose.Nice touch with the druid. You've done justice to the horse lord. I have couple of those horse lord lancers stashed and now I see how cool they look painted. Well done!
ReplyDeletesuch a characterful force...I look forward to seeing it when you've had the chance to complete the other 1000 points! Congrats for making it thru!
ReplyDeleteTalk about lovely centerpiece models for you army. Well done!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking stuff! The giants turned out awesome & the horse lord is looking good in green!
ReplyDeleteJust love the skythian vib of that horselord, well done sir
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! To paint one giant is hard enough, but two 💪👌, and together with the horse lord, makes a fitting end to your OWAC. Great work!
