Here at last!
This month we have characters. The army general in terminator armour, his lieutenant, a techmarine and a dreadnaught. I’ve always considered dreadnaughts to be characters given that only a hero can be entered into the sarcophagus which is the heart of the machine.
The command section
The Lieutenant
As a bonus I managed to finish the assault squad mounted on jetbikes. This was planned for my month 3 offering but I ended up taking a mulligan that month. This was the unit that started it all. I didn’t like the way the renegades looked on horseback so these gents dwelled in the caves beneath the mountain of lead for two decades until I got more renegades in a trade. At that point I pushed to collect the rest of the army and here we are!
The points are as follows:
- Captain in terminator armour with power axe – 150pts
- Lieutenant (tentacles count as power fist) – 25pts
- Techmarine – 20pts
- Dreadnaught – 150pts
- Assault squad on jetbikes – 380pts
Those renegades look much more at home on those bikes than on horseback! The stark colours suit that Dread (I had one years ago and was never happy with my paint job) and suddenly the Olley Techmarine looks so much like his beastmen that now I can't believe he was ever an Imperial mini!
ReplyDeleteOooh glad you finished the jetbikes, they look great! Excellent finish, and you got everything done!
ReplyDeleteThat jet bike squad is very impressive, and lovely work on the characters. I think the old admech works really well here as a Chaos Techmarine :)
ReplyDeleteThose bikers work perfectly! And the tech marine fits so well as a chaos character - brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThe jetbikes are fantastic, but that Dreadnought and the techmarine are awesome!
ReplyDeleteAssault squad on jetbikesnis awesome!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe jetbikes are a really good match with their riders, a great swop from horses! I also love the classics you have collected to lead your force to battle
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Your colour scheme and placement is off the chart - great work!
