I'll be honest, this month has been a bit of a struggle. It's hard to paint during an unseasonal heatwave, and I wasn't sure if I'd get them finished. Still, these are such characterful old minis, I was determined to get them across the finish line. This was one time when I was particularly happy that I'm using 32mm bases instead of the old 25's, as it makes such top-heavy models much more stable.
As the stormboyz only number eight minis, I also painted my Evil Sunz mekboy and his grot dogsbody. He was looking a bit squat and unremarkable, so I added a bannerpole from a biker, with a nice big glyph plate from a newer kit to advertise his services.
