Hi all,
Well...after the unexpected Mulligan that I was forced to take last month due to an ill timed visit by the touch of Nurgle, I've decided to just crank through the figures I was working on for February and get them posted.
So here they are...First the Group Photo
As you can see I opted to skip painting any Cav for this entry...they will be showing up in the final months' offerings. This fact meant that I had to paint a considerable number of infantry models to make up the points difference, but to help with that....this group does contain a lvl 5 hero...the leader of the Lord's Bowman unit.
Here is the points break down
5-Lord's Bowmen 75 pts
lvl 5 hero 53 pts
4-Light Infantry 44 pts
2 Wardancers 42 pts
Total: 214 pts
And here are photos of each Troop type.
Lord's Bowmen (incl. lvl 5 hero)
Light Infantry
Wardancers
Finishing up all this infantry leaves with just 7 models left to finish for the challenge!! The last lot will include my general and two more cavalry models. Its really starting to look like a gameable force!!
Cheers,
Blue
Great job, as usual! This will looks like an amazing force on the table top!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'll try to set up some on table shots for the final wrap up blog post. I'm kinda excited about that!
DeleteCracking work. I really like the natural colours in your scheme, and the lack of repeat figures.
ReplyDeleteThanks Curis! Other than the boars I am duplicate free! ...though some of the archer poses are pretty repetitive.
DeleteAbsolutely perfect Bloo!
ReplyDeleteLovely job on some of the nicest figures GW ever did. Good to see a marauder archer in there too
ReplyDeleteThanks Nathan! there will be a total of three marauder archers mixed into this unit. I must say that they don't really hold a candle to the Goodwin sculpts but they add a bit of variety so I'm going with it.
DeleteVery cool Blue and worth the wait!
ReplyDeletethey look fantastic. Particularly like that Rambo wardancer with the red hair
ReplyDeleteGreat paint job on great figs! never saw the injured guy before!
ReplyDeleteHes one of my favorites too...damaged but still fighting!
DeleteOh, man, you suck - Now I want Wood Elves too...
ReplyDeleteGod damn it Blue, these figures are so beautiful they make me weep. Can't wait to see these in person.
ReplyDeleteAwesome work as usual, Blue!
ReplyDeleteThose look gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo good, I'm embarrassed to post mine.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Please don't say that! If you make the effort please share the results! Painted figures trump unpainted ones EVERY TIME!
DeleteThose war dancers are some of my all time favs. I think mine have seen servive in every version of warhammer from 3 to the last one. Last time they got on the table it was for 3rd.
ReplyDeletewell done sir!
DeleteSimply stunning mate. The understated colours are perfect.
ReplyDeleteCheers Mus!
