LEADER MONTH
The five Heroes |
I have to admit that heroes have really save the month. My initial plan was to have last month of the challenge for the them, a full month just for them ,so this month should have been the month of the command groups. Then, at the middle of the month, I realised that only 3 spearman (pending for the last month) were finished and the rest were miniatures in diferents painting states. So I take a big breath I and moved to the heroes, with no idea if two weeks were enough for them... but I did it!
So what have I done this month...?
1 Hero N5 (48) Two handed weapon (2) + Long bow (3) + Light armour (2)
1 Hero N5 (48) Long bow (3) + Light armour (2)
1 Hero N5 (48) Two handed weapon (2) + Heavy armour (3)

Total: 267
Total points: 955
I have tried to respect the color scheme of their own units as much as possible but couldn´t be possible in all of them, probably the fault is mine...
Lets see the heroes:
Who is him??? Probably a young Skarloc before he left Athel Lore to go around the Old World. A great leader for one of the archers unit.
This miniature arrived a couple on month ago so no pics of him in the first post. Bu as soon as I saw it, I was sure it seems a better archers leader that the selected one. So I did the change. I´m pretty happy the painting result in this one.
These are positively majestic. The gold helmet on the last one is very shiny looking. Well done :)
ReplyDeleteGlorious painting, love the nmm and the colours are so bright
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as ever. Interesting how you painted El... I mean, that nameless hero's black sword
ReplyDeleteLove the painting and colors, and your falcon is wonderful!

ReplyDeleteDon't do it!!!!
DeleteVery colourful, nicely done
ReplyDeleteholy flipping WOW!
ReplyDeleteOutstanding - so many colours!
These are lovely - you're managed to add some pastel colours to the palette while keeping them looking rich, and natural, and in keeping with the Wood Elf vibe. It gives them a real warm spring feel.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on the Elric figure - that's got to be one of the best interpretations I've seen!
At the risk of repeating myself I'll commend you once more for the luminosity and lightness of touch your minis have - I'm sure it's a lot of work to achieve that effect! Beautiful.
