PaulM's Beastie Boys - No Sleep Till Bögenhafen (100pts)

Rank and File #4

Hoof on the pedal never ever false metal
Rage running hotter than a boiling kettle
My job's ain't a job, it's a damn good feeling
Stadt to stadt I'm gonna leave you bleeding

Hello youse.

Tight one this month, lots of outside distractions (and a new dog) have left very little time for toy soldiers, so once again I present the bare minimum.

Ten beastmen, made from the 7th (I think) edition plastics, which I mistakenly bought pre-built  off of eBay as I failed to read the description properly. Anyway, enough of my lack of reading comprehension, these were an exercise in speed painting by me being painted up in a few short spurts and making much more use of dry-brushing and contrast paints that a normally do. Regardless, though they're a little rough round the edges, they will be used in 6th mostly where their role is as ablative armour for their larger, scarier cousins.

*angry bleating intensifies*

So, points for this month:

Ten beastmen - 100pts

----------------------------------------------

Month six total - 100pts

Running total - 1215pts

I still have a few things to finish up on my 'army' (though I think 'army' is a generous term for 40 models) including a banner and a couple of movement trays. But it does feel good to have made it to the end, even if it is by the skin of my teeth.

  1. Hey, hey, hey. 40 model crew stand tall. We've got to look out for each other. And yours are better painted than mine, too.

  2. Love them and don't see much in the way of rough edges. A new doggo gets you an automatic pass in any case in my books!

  3. They look good - very solid unit. I like the pale skin tones with a hint of pink. Contrasts well with the browns and blacks. Looks a bit Slaaneshy to me... Well done!

  4. What a month - 10 beautiful beasties painted and a new dog! Why no photos of the dog though?

  6. Photos are needed of this doggo!
Cracking job, and for a 'rough finish (which I cannot see!), they look fantastic!
    Congrats on crossing the line!
