There is nothing that can compare with majesty of dragon.
Even in my 5th edition Bretonnian army I had a dragon - DE Rakhart mount. Can you imagine the leader of army without these powerful mount? Late editions of Warhammer(6+) causes that it shall be more than 2000pts to take dragon to the rooster definitely i prefer herohammer.
High elves Imrik is the last of full metal dragons in elven armies. Hard to assemble, but really cool to paint. I decided to use classical bright blue-white-red pallete. This set of colours are not popular last days ;).
Unfortunately due to all other activites Teclis & mages will wait for some free time..
Ha yes, great job on the blue and the wings!
ReplyDeleteLovely leader and great color choices!
ReplyDeleteThat's glorious, well done! I too love dragons (though they usually disappoint on the battlefield) but somehow I don't have any of the classic "S" dragons like this one?
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I'll be very happy if I get anywhere near this with mine! :D
ReplyDeleteLarge amounts of blue is not an easy colour to apply and look good, you did, well done sir.
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Painting a dragon is no mean feat - kudos to you, s/he looks ferocious!
ReplyDeleteNot the biggest fan of the later Geedub dragons but you've done an absolutely stonking job on that one dude.
ReplyDeleteWow! Heavy hitting and big painting project for the leader month. Impressive work on those banners too.
ReplyDeleteLovely dragon and cracking paintjob! Esepecially like the blue and ivory. Very cool banners. As for the set of colours... well the red, white and blue are the lovely colours of the Kingdom of Netherlands ;-)
