"Frateris Militia have been known to perform feats of great courage and valour that would make veteran Imperial Guardsman blanch with fear."
Plans for April:
Plan was simple - no woman, no power armour, this is typical male month. Steel, leather and testosterone. Necromunda's Orlock gang wait for a long time to be part of a game. Cawdor or Redemptionists may looks better, but for militaristic sisters from 2nd edition Orlocks are also great.
Realization:
Striping old paint takes some time. I've prepared bases and after cleaning zenithal gray primer was set
I use mainly Citadel Contrast and Wargaming SpeedPaints 2.0. They are great on zenithal base. Painting was quite fast, but I noticed that two warriors have only one hand and two or three others has additional hands still on it's weapons. Unfortunately I have no tools nor bits to solve that issue (I spend last two weeks out of my home city).
Red ribbons for identifing Ecclesiarch forces .Final Galery:
Points:
- Missionary champion for 23pts
- Frateris Militia squad 108 pts
Brilliant expansion of your force mate, well done. I'm a big fan of using Necromunda models in this way and you have pulled it off really well. The atmospheric basing makes it feel like they are in a war zone and definitely out of their Hive gang comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteThe heavy looks like he could be Logan/Wolverine during his Merc days :D
Nice to see someone else using necromunda figures as militia.
ReplyDeleteThey work well as militia, they are similarly dressed without quite being in a uniform. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous comments-you made a great choice of models! There's a fine line separating Hive Gangers from conscripts anyway. A solid month!
ReplyDeleteStirling work! That's a massive gang - I mean militia force 👊 |They look great.
ReplyDeleteReally cool to see old necromunda models. Orlocks are a good choice for fratelis militia, they're doing just fine.
