As a young dwarf he’d always lusted after the thrill of watching the life drain from his victims, but had not the courage to face them in actual combat. He’d loiter around the edge of the battlefield instead, throwing explosives into any frays that got to close to where he was hiding. Too afraid to fight, Skimich would wait to finish off anyone, friend or foe, on death’s door.
There was only so long he could get away with such cowardly and dishonourable behaviour before his fellow clansdwarves began to notice. Under cover of darkness, he fled before he could be driven out.
What Skimich lacked in bravery though, he more than made up for in intelligence. He was a master of all things explosives, and soon built up a small retinue of followers who had an equal love for all things black powder

ReplyDeleteThanks guys :)
ReplyDeleteI’ve been choosing attributes rather than rolling them as I think it makes for better storytelling.
My image of Skimich is that he is a Billy Big Bollocks when he is on a hill away from the battle, but that he bottles it if anyone gets too close.
Nice job. And your post reminds me I should roll or choose some chaos attributes for my units too.
