January's done!
I ended up doing month 3 from my plan in January. I'm pleased with the results and think they'll fit in well with the existing force. As planned, I've kept to an autumnal color scheme, with an evergreen mixed in as an accent color. Still getting the hang of painting and modeling with glasses, as a couple of missed mold lines will attest, but they'll be fine on the table top.
Points breakdown as follows (3rd edition):
4 Wood Riders with longbows @ 26 = 104
1 Beastmaster @ 13
1 Level 10 Hero with longbow = 91
Total = 208
Hero & Beastmaster
Wood Riders
Awesome doing a different colour for each horse - nice colour scheme too!
ReplyDeleteThese are really nice. Low-key and great colours.
ReplyDeleteThat fall theme on the base works great for wood elves. Nice job.
ReplyDeleteSuper start to the challenge! Wood Elves were my first 3rd edition army and I still have a soft spot for them. The colour palette is spot on!
ReplyDeleteAlways liked the Wood Elves but never painted one. It would be hard to match this work if I did. Looking good.
ReplyDeleteAutumnal Wood Elves are always a treat. Great work!
ReplyDeleteThese horses are beautiful! Great unit!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice sculpts and classic paint jobs :)
