Month three, “troop” number three. No business trips means I could plan a full month of painting, and thus decided to tackle one of the more taxing teams I planned.
Not only did I go for the team with the most models (that I own),
but also decided to push myself to paint more than just block colours. So I
present the Half-pint Herbalists, my halfling team:
Nothing too crazy, hopefully you will agree that the blue and yellow compliment each other nicely and will stand out on the pitch. I tried to keep things further unified by painting the head gear mostly in a burnished metal scheme.
Not too much more I can say about these little guys since
pretty much all the models look the same but I like how they came out.
Next month I have yet another business trip but not too long
this time so I am hoping I can smash out another full team but we will see, I
also have a backup plan should that start to look like it is not going to work
out.
Anyway, keep on painting everyone, we are halfway through!
Where's the treeman?
ReplyDeleteYou're spot on, the colours work really well! And the extra time shows - great looking team!
ReplyDeleteThey look great! I think I own 4 Hobbit BB'ers, and will likely paint them for this OWAC- you have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a good colour scheme. Also owning a halfling team means you are definitely hardcore!
ReplyDeletePretty nice halfling team. Indeed the colours combine pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI love the team name and the use of the Hot Pot chef :)
ReplyDeleteSome brilliant work with the stripy uniforms. A cracking blue too!
