The Destroyer and the Tempest (1200 points) Skal's Tank month

Rank & File #4

This month I decided to go big. I ended up painting two Armorcast creations that I have had for a bit. The first is the Tempest Super Heavy Grav Tank. This thing is pure awesome. It was fun to finally get a chance to throw some paint onto this beast. According to the stat card this Super Heavy can lay down some monstrous fire power with its array of turret  mounted weapons from the Pulsar (touch that enemy armor at 60 inches)  as well as a choice of Linked Shuriken Cannons or Linked Star Cannons.

Next up is the 40k scale Destroyer Knight also clocking in at 600 points. Sporting an impressive turret mounted Pulsar (a wonderful reach of 60 inches) and Scatter Laser, a Power Fist and Power Sword to play with the enemy up close and personal.

Thats about it for this month. Sorry I only did two figs, I will try to get back into the swing of it next month.

Till next time, Skal!

  8. Crikey - Go hard or go home and it don't come much harder than a Super-heavy tank and a Knight! Beautiful paint work and I really love the thorny briars/brambles design that runs along the Tempest's side. Who said Eldar have to be delicate and dainty!
